Project 1

Lines
There are lines in the floor that have been created by the tools used when pouring concrete.

Texture
This is the wall outside Walker. The texture was created when they stuccoed the wall.

Space
The lid to the trash can creates a 3d space in which air can move and items can fit.

Shape
Although it is a 3d object the outline of the window frame is a rectangle.

Emphasis
When looking at this picture my eyes are drawn towards the middle spartans sign which stands out as the emphasis of the picture.

Balance
When they built the building it created balance on both sides with an equal number of trees and windows on each side.

Movement
Your eyes follow the top ridge and then move down the tall pillars to create movement in the picture.

Harmony
As the hallway progress the balance of frames and carpet designs create harmony to the overall flow of the hallway.

Proportion
When looking at the first light it appears to be really big but as your eyes move down the lights appear to get smaller in proportion.

Rhythm
The swooping arches create rhythm that pulls the eye along them.

Unity
As this multimedia waterfall brings all these elements together it creates a unity between all of them.

Color
Although this book doesn't offer every color it demonstrates a few colors.

Variety
Sykes Chapel uses a variety of shapes and 3d forms to create this wonderful building.

Process

We were brainstorming ideas of what to do and came up with the idea of death. Want to play off death and how smoking kills but not directly implied, but the person smoking looses and dies.

The Last Move

We have two characters sitting at a table under the veranda. Mike is smoking a cigarette and slowly puffing on it. Mike is wearing dark colored clothes and is in obvious pain. In between each puff he coughs and wheezes. Sitting across the table is Susan. Susan is dressed in bright color clothes and munching down on gum. She is perky and excited to be sitting at the table. In the middle of the table is a set of dominos. Susan places a domino on the bored and says “Beat that!” Mike responds “Easy.” and places another one down. Susan looks at him. She places another one down on Mikes side of the table. Susan, “You have been blocked.” Mike looks up at her and smiles. He has realize he has lost the game. Mike Coughs a lot more as he finished his cigarette. He throws it on the floor.
